Night Out on the Farm
YOUR FRIENDS FARM, AUGUST 2025
There are some gatherings that remind us why coming together matters, and our evening at Your Friends Farm was one of them. As the sun settled over the rolling fields, we gathered around the table exactly where it all begins – close to the land, close to one another, and far from the pace that usually pulls us away from moments like this.
Dinner was prepared by Jess herself – a seasonal farm-to-table meal crafted from ingredients grown just steps from where we gathered. Every dish felt like a celebration of the land and a reminder of how powerful intentional nourishment can be.
To close the evening, Jess led us on a quiet tour of the land, guiding us through the spaces she has shaped with care, intention, and an unmistakable respect for the earth. Her reflections on stewardship, community, and the rhythms of farm life offered a grounding reminder of what it means to tend to something larger than ourselves. Walking the fields at dusk, it was easy to feel the heart of the farm in every corner – a place built not for show, but for connection, nourishment, and the simple beauty of paying attention.
More than a meal, this evening was an invitation to slow down, reconnect, and remember what happens when women come together in spaces that honor both the work and the wonder. It was a return to the roots – to the land, to community, and to the kind of connection that lingers long after the table is cleared.
