Featured Female in Business: Hannah Talbot

This month we are excited to share with you a little more about Hannah Talbot, and the incredible Anam Cara Healing Center, a sanctuary for heart-led women and leaders who are ready to heal, reconnect, and rise.

Coming Home to Ourselves

On 2/22/22, under a date humming with alignment and intention, Anam Cara Healing Center opened its doors. But the roots of this sacred space stretch much further back. Before construction began in 2021—before the walls were raised or the floor was laid—there was a little girl mixing wildflower potions, yearning for something sacred in the everyday. That girl grew into a leader, an entrepreneur, and eventually, the founder of a sanctuary built for women just like her.

After two decades in leadership and HR—and launching her first business at just 19—Hannah noticed a painful pattern: brilliant, purpose-driven women were burning out while chasing success. Anam Cara was born from that realization. It’s a space where aligned ambition meets nervous system care. Where somatic healing, sacred ritual, and strategic clarity live side by side.

“Anam Cara” means soul friend—and that’s the heart of everything they do.

A Sanctuary for Heart-Led Leaders

Anam Cara is not there to push hustle culture. They aim to create a new paradigm for success—one rooted in embodiment, community, and the kind of care that changes lives. Their offerings are intentionally designed to help people reconnect with their bodies, their breath, and their deeper purpose.

What you can find at Anam Cara:

  • Corporate Wellness Programs, Keynotes & Retreats for organizations ready to reduce burnout and inspire innovation.

  • Weekly Events including breathwork, sound baths, moon circles, and mindfulness sessions—all anchored in nervous system regulation and community care.

  • Healing Retreats Around the World from Spokane farms to tropical escapes in Fiji, Mallorca, and Mexico.

  • Somatic Energy Practitioner Trainings, a trauma-informed, 10-month certification in chakra work, therapeutic dialogue, and embodied healing.

  • 1:1 & Group Coaching for leaders and entrepreneurs who want to grow their vision without sacrificing their well-being.

  • Daily Mindfulness Memberships—30-minute practices offered in-person and virtually, supported by our custom-built mindfulness app.

What sets Anam Cara apart is how they blend ancient wisdom with science-backed tools. They offer more than wellness—they offer remembrance.

Evolving Without Losing the Soul

Since launching, the team at Anam Cara has learned that true leadership requires flexibility. One of their most powerful pivots was embracing technology without compromising the sacred. Though Anam Cara was designed as a tech-free sanctuary, they knew healing needed to extend beyond their walls. So, they brought mindfulness classes to Zoom—and eventually built their own app to bring nervous system support to clients across the globe.

That’s the kind of change they believe in: rooted, expansive, and aligned.

The Legacy of Soul Work

Hannah and her crew at Anam Cara have celebrated milestones—international retreats, sold-out circles, and a global community of changemakers—but her proudest moments are personal. The client who said, “This place saved my life.” The ones who arrived numb and left awakened. The look in someone’s eyes when they feel, maybe for the first time, that they belong.

This isn’t just business. It’s soul work.

And still, day one remains unforgettable. Standing in the doorway of a dream made real, tears flowing freely, knowing that something sacred had taken shape—and it was just the beginning.

For the Ones Who Feel Deeply and Dream Big

The community at Anam Cara is made up of leaders, caretakers, visionaries—the ones who hold space for everyone else, and are finally ready to be held themselves. They’re not there for a quick fix. They’re ready to remember who they are.

It’s is more than a center—it’s a movement. One where success doesn’t demand self-sacrifice. One where they redefine leadership with softness, strength, and soul.

They hope to leave a legacy of women who feel safe in their bodies, clear in their purpose, and bold enough to lead from the heart. Of businesses built with integrity and creativity. Of communities that thrive from the inside out.

“If I can help even one person come home to themselves—and build something beautiful from that place—then I’ve done what I came here to do.”
