Wildfire Relief with Partners INW
With devastating wildfires tearing through our community a little over one month ago, many of us as business owners have been trying to figure out how to help those in need. We’ve seen coffee shops and restaurants donating percentages of their proceeds, co-working spaces opening their doors to displaced individuals needing a place to work, even artists creating beautiful pieces commemorating homes that were lost for no cost at all.
Vested is honored to share that, in lieu of our August Vested VIP event, many of our VIP members have decided to contribute their membership fee to the non-profit organization Partners INW in support of wildfire relief efforts. Vested was able to donate $1,050 to Partners INW thanks to the generosity of these members.
Partners INW is a community resource dedicated to helping individuals and families access essential support services. Through programs like their food bank, clothing bank, diaper bank, and emergency assistance services, they works to ensure people in our region have access to basic necessities during difficult times. Head to their website to learn more about how you can contribute to their cause through corporate partnerships, volunteering, donations, and community drives.
A special thank you to Laura Dow, owner of Terra Cotta Designs, for pointing us in the direction of Partners INW, as well as Celeste Shaw, owner of The Conservatory at Vinegar Goods for your willingness to host our August VIP gathering, and Ashley Jones, owner of Covered with Art who was going to host our painting class before we made the decision to cancel (head here to check-out her upcoming workshops and classes and share the love!).
