We enjoyed a collaborative evening full of connection and social media clarity in the über cute parking lot and garage space at Kindnss! To start the evening, Patera Lounge curated a delicious menu of botanical libations to compliment a tasty charcuterie spread from Kalbria Grazing Bar, and Electric Photoland kept it classic and attendees were able to capture selfies and snapshots with their fellow female entrepreneurs.
Chelsea Flower, founder of Scott Social, walked us through an actionable, grounding conversation about what social media is actually all about. She named the most common things holding us back from showing up online with confidence. We discussed the basics of a sales funnel and how social media can be utilized and tracked in unique ways based on our individual business needs (spoiler alert: it’s not all about the likes).
Mostly importantly, Chelsea shared that the way your content makes people feel is the thing that drives connection, and connection is the thing that drives everything else. Socials are just a piece of you and your business, and at the end of the day, the relationships you build both online and in person can make or break your goals.
