What kind of opportunities/projects are you looking for?
Shifting from wedding photography and into more small business (especially women- owned) branding photography has been a change I've dreamt up for a long time. I LOVE getting business owners in front of the camera and curating them solid imagery to use on their socials, websites, etc... that they are proud of and excited to use!
Who is your dream client?
Women who value connection and want photos that are more than just "photos" but an experience.
How should someone approach you about working together?
Email me! Working from home with a 1 year old is busy, but I do my best to check my email throughout the week and can organize inquires best there.
How do you stand out in your field?
One thing that rings loud and true for me is, I want to be part of YOUR photography experience. Not just a body behind a camera clicking the shutter button. I want to give you an experience that you’ll remember long after your time with me ends. I want to hear every detail of the story/ business you’ve brought me and become part of it with you. I want there to be trust, freedom, comfort and a whole lot of fun (duh!) between us as I stick a camera in your face and say "show me who you are". So real talk, if you’re looking for a photographer to simply be hired help, I’m not your girl. My secret sauce is and always will be, that I am fully invested in the humans that step in front of my camera and it’s my hope and wish that you come to me as a client and leave as a friend.
If you could talk to an expert to gain more insight on something, what would it be about?
Motherhood and business ownership time management! Stepping into my new role as mom these past 20 months, after being a business owner for a decade plus now, has me feeling like I exist in two separate universes. One where I crush it in my business, the other where I am a fully invested and dedicated mom. Always looking for advice from other moms who've done this as to how to blend the two worlds better!
If you could give advice to your younger self, what would it be?
Give yourself a break BEFORE you reach a breaking point.
